Dan's Longboard Travels A Long Way

It was only meant to be a quick session with Dan and his longboard, but I got a bit carried away and the short edit (below) is now splattered all over the interblog.

It can now be seen on Mpora, facebook, skatebook, jahlada website, skateperception, Slap forum, Sidewalk forum, and has even received a mention on good old Crossfire.

Time to put it on youtube now I guess.

Horsey's Last Trick In England (For A While)

Horsey has had enough of this weather and has buggered off to California for a couple of months to hook up with the guys at Teenage Runaway.

Harlow Skatepark

The building of the new skatepark in Harlow is well underway. I've seen it with my own eyes and it is amazing!! I'll try and get some pictures up soon but for now here's a shot of the plans painted on the side of the Motel6 skateshop wagon.

How Apt

Kingpin magazine have updated their website and it looks all brand spanking new, but in doing so they have messed up the Horsey interview link that we previously blogged.

They have however mentioned that the tie-dye freak is now riding for Teenage Runaway Urethane which is correct.

Good Perception

THE internet lurking site for all skater's into all things related to filming and editing has to be skateperception. On their video page they have different categories of videos such as promos, montages, trick tips, random footage, etc, etc. Each of these categories has a featured video and the current featured video in the "Event Coverage" category is the Death Skegness premiere clip that has been posted here previously.

Rob's Poor Face

Rob Smith and the good lads at Central Skatepark in Manchester held their annual Xmas piss-up a couple of weeks ago. Amongst the drunkenness, Rob managed to get the nasty end of a broken bottle in the face. GET WELL SOON WOB WOB!!!!

......while we are on the subject of facial scarring, it's almost exactly a year ago when Schooner sustained a similar injury in Sydney, Australia, where he fell face first onto a pint glass at the end of a classic Oxford street night out.....

There's a lesson here kids. I'm not sure what it is exactly but I'm sure there is one.

.....So I bought a digital SLR recently because I like the sound they make when you shoot sequences. On a freezing cold day in December the new bowl in Hertford got to see Horsey quickly knock out a mid-run frontside blunt for my lens in between shooting photos with real photographers who actually know what they are doing!
